Artist Statement:

I created a 3D cardboard blender that was represented as a duplicate of a realistic blender. Measurements were made from all sides of the subject to accurately depict the scale. The measurements were drawn with pencils and cut out with an exacto-knife from the cardboard. Each piece of cardboard was taped to each other to formulate the blender's structure. Duct and Scotch tapes were taped over the cardboard structure to provide an accurate contrast that duplicates the realistic blender. I created this blender to understand 3D through a realistic style and to improve my skills as a problem solver.
